Bulova went on to manufacture clocks and pocket watches. People took notice of his skill and soon his creations were being sold in surprising numbers. By 1912, Bulova had set up his first plant for the assembly of watch parts.
For many years, men carried pocket watches in order to keep the time. However, in 1919, men began to notice how easy it was to keep the time with wristwatches rather than carrying pocket watches. It was in this year that Bulova created and introduce its initial collection of men's jeweled, watches.
